It's Christmas time! Another of those boxes with the ribbon on it came and this one has my name on it, too. Dad says that's what happens at Christmas so I'm a big fan now! Mommy and I had a photo shoot last week to come up with a picture to send to people just to say hi and let them see how I'm growing. This first one is me in my new favorite hat. My Aunt Gen sent it to me and I think I'm quite stylish in it.

Here I am in my bumbo, just hangin' out and playin' with the lights. Mommy and Daddy kept trying to get them out of my mouth. Hah! Silly parents! Don't you know that everything goes in my mouth these days? Thankfully I don't have any teeth and they were both nearby to make sure I didn't acutally get anything into my mouth but my fist.

I gotta tell ya, I LOVE these light things. They're shiny and have bright colors and when you put them all over the tree it looks like a big version of some of my light-up toys.

Eventually I tuckered out and needed a nap. Do you think that stopped Mommy from taking pictures? Heck, no! She says she likes this one best of all, I'm just glad she didn't wake me up. She says I'm the best stocking stuffer ever.

It's the Chloe Road Show again this coming weekend, lots of hugs and kisses coming my way and I can't wait.

Hi everyone! While I'm waiting to get pictures from my visits with Grammy last weekend and Grandpa Michael last night I figured I'd put up a post just to say hello and tell you the latest here. Mommy said I had to go and get shots on Tuesday. I made this face:

In the end the shots were ok, actually. They hurt for a minute but Mommy hugged me and the nurse said I was a good girl and then I went home with Mommy and we curled up and took a nap. I felt much better after that. I've almost doubled my birth weight and I'm getting long and strong! Doctor Scobie says I'm perfect, and I agree, of course. :)

A package came the other day. It's wrapped in shiny paper and has a bow on it and the tag says Chloe. I wanted to open it but Mommy said I had to wait until the 25th to open it. That's almost two weeks! That's a lifetime for a baby! You know how I feel about that?

That's right, I blow bubbles. I was considering sleeping through the night again but now? No way. I'm going to be up three times a night until someone gives me that package! I'll be sure to post and let you know what's in there.

I wanted to put up some pictures from my trip to South Carolina for Thanksgiving. I had a very good time. There was lots of new stuff to look at and explore. We went to lunch at a nice restaurant and I got to investigate everyone's meals. Most people seemed to be having turkey for some reason, I'm not sure why. Mommy says I'll understand later.

After lunch Mommy and Daddy and I went out walking. I got to sit in my sling which I love and look out at everyone as we went by. Later that night Grandpa and Grandmother Mary helped me get to sleep and kept me company. I got to spend the whole next day with them, it was lots of fun. GM even got me a book of nursery rhymes and we read it together.

The next day it was time for a long trip home. We got to stop along the way and see some friends of Mommy's. Here I am with Lizzie. She's very pretty and she let me sit on her lap and look around, that's a sure way to my heart.

This is Lala, she said I had a great smile, she does too! So we practiced smiling at each other for a while. She's funny and I liked playing with her hair. Mommy says she lives nearby so I can't wait to play with her again.

See, I told you Lala was funny. Here she is making funny faces and bunny ears over me for the camera. I can see a long future of hamming it up for the camera with Auntie Lala.

We got home before too late and I even got to play a little before bedtime. Mommy says we have more road trips coming up, I can't wait because someone always sits in the back seat with me and plays with my toys and talks to me. The Chloe Road Show, coming soon to a city near you!

A snow day at home, is there anything better? Actually.. I don't know, since this is my first. Mommy and I were scheduled to be home together yesterday since I had an appointment in the afternoon, but then with all the snow it turned out Daddy got to stay home, too! We had a great day. I slept late with Mommy, took naps with Daddy, I even got to go see the other babies at the group we used to go to when Mommy was home on maternity leave. They were excited to see me and boy was I happy to see them. We laughed and looked at each other and Emily showed me how to grab both feet at once. I loved doing that. I even showed them how good I'm getting at holding my head up like in the picture up there. I played with my dragon and showed it to Ryan. He said it was the coolest dragon he'd ever seen, and he's older by a whole month so he would know.

At the end of the day the whole family went to see the hearing doctor to make sure I'm hearing everything loud and clear. He said I had "great response" in both ears and a good startle response. Well of course I did, everything I do is great!

This weekend I'm going down to see Grammy and Aunt Ellen and Uncle Greg. We'll get to hang out and I'll get to show off my toe-grabbing skills. I'm going to see if I can't get my foot all the way to my mouth by the time I see Grandpa Michael on Sunday. Who knows what kind of stuff I'll have learned by the time I see everyone at the end of the month. Mommy says it's Christmas. I'm not sure what that means yet, but the way she talks about it I think I'm going to like it.

My first snow! I knew something must be up when Mom started getting me ready to go early. I'm always up for something new so I just giggled and got strapped into my seat. When she opened the door there was white everywhere! On the deck, on the ground, even on Mom's car! She explained about snow and then put my hat on so we could go out and look at it. I looked up at the sky and bits of it were falling on me.

Huh, some of it landed on my nose. As you can see, I'm willing to let this "snow" stuff happen, but I'm still not sure I'm happy about it. Mom says maybe next year when I can play in it I'll like it better. I hope so, for now it's just making my nose wet!

Me and mom were talking this morning and realized that it would be so much fun to make a blog so that people could see what's up with me lately. The latest? I've found my toes!

When Mom was getting ready this morning she looked over to see me stretching and wiggling on my blanket and I just started grabbing at my toes. I think they're pretty nifty but not so fun to grab with socks on. Oh well, it's no big deal for me to kick my socks off, I'm getting really good at it.

I'm blowing lots of spit bubbles, making lots of motorboat noises, and playing with my vowels. Daddy likes to make me laugh because I giggle and make spit bubbles all at the same time.

I've learned to love my toys, too! Mom and Dad are so careful about getting me good educational toys but my favorite toy is a dragon that goes "BLAH!" That'll show them! Check out my toes, too. Here, I'll put them right up by the camera so you can see them.

Here you can see my spit bubbles a little bit. All in a day's work for the baby, eh?
Ok, I'm going to take a nap now, this blogging is hard work. Talk to you later.
